BEIJING - State Councilor Ma Kai Friday called for greater efforts to develop the China National School of Administration (CNSA), the country's top training center for civil servants, into a world-class school by improving the faculty quality.

Ma, also president of the CNSA, made the remarks while addressing a meeting of heads of the country's administration schools here.

"All-around measures should be taken to improve the comprehensive quality of all the staff members of the CNSA, especially the teachers," Ma said.

He urged the school to shore up all the three key tasks of training, scientific research and policy consultancy, so as to provide better services for work of central authorities and cadres training.

Besides serving as a training center, the CNSA, officially launched in 1994, also conducts theoretical research and provides policy consultancy in government management and public management.
