BEIJING- An earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale jolted northeast of Taiwan at 11:23:45 Beijing Time (03:23:45 GMT) on Sunday, the US Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 215.70 km, was initially determined to be at 25.3612 degrees north latitude and 123.0040 degrees east longitude.
