HANOI - The Vietnam National Political Publishing House (NPPH) and Chinese Jiangsu People's Publishing House have signed here on Friday a number of documents to expand cooperation in their publishing sectors.
According to the documents, the NPPH will further expand traditional relations with its Chinese partner through practical and concrete cooperative projects. The two sides will exchange the list of publications on Vietnam's 25 years of renewals and China' s 33 years of renewals, titles on construction of the Party and state, and other issues.
Cooperation and assistance in such areas as topic selection, copyright purchase, translation, and publication of books will be given due attention, said NPPH director and editor-in-chief Nguyen Duy Hung.
At the meeting, the two sides exchanged experience in specific issues, including publication of books, editing to the drafts, copyright purchase and distribution network.
They also shared views on renewals of the publication work, especially in building a modern model of a publishing house suited to the country's social and economic conditions.
Visiting deputy editor-in-chief of Jiangsu People's Publishing House, Fu Jianming, led a delegation to visit Vietnam from October 9-17, at the invitation of his Vietnamese NPPH counterpart.
