The municipal government of Tianjin held a job fair in Toronto, Canada on Dec 1 to lure overseas Chinese professionals back to China, China News Service reported.
More than twenty colleges from Tianjin and ten companies from the Tianjin Binhai New Area were offering some 500 positions in teaching, research and management at the Tianjin Toronto International Job Fair 2012.
The job fair was hosted by Tianjin Municipal Education Commission and Tianjin Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs and sponsored by the Chinese Professionals Association of Canada.
Tianjin is offering various favorable packages to high-end talent, an official of the city's education commission said, aiming to bring overseas Chinese back to the city.
