BEIJING - Chinese shares closed mixed on Thursday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index ending at 2,404.7, down 0.09 percent, or 2.12 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index edged up 0.39 percent, or 39.65 points, to close at 10,201.65.
