Jianghuai Automobile Co exported nearly 10,000 vehicles in the first half of this year to the Brazilian market, and has sold about 57,000 vehicles through its agency, Grupo SHC, according to JAC's recent data.

Of the exported vehicles, the retail sales volume contributed 51,000 units, gasgoo.com reported

JAC entered the Brazilian market two years ago, and started to sell the J3 hatchback model in Brazil on March 18, 2011. Sales of that car reached 37,800 units in the same year.

In 2012, JAC introduced the J5 and J6 models to Brazil, but their sales volume only totaled 10,000 units in 2012.

Near the end of 2012, JAC rolled out the J2 small-size hatchback in Brazil and began the construction of a local automobile factory, which is set to start producing in 2014.
