On Sept 6, the National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra premiered its latest original symphonic piece, titled Symphony of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, at the National Center For The Performing Arts, celebrating the three regions' culture and history.

Under the baton of conductor Zhang Yi, the orchestra played the piece, composed by Shang Peilei and Yu Jingjun. The symphony features three chapters based on fables and stories, such as Yugong Moving the Mountain and A Magic Paint Brush: The Story of Ma Liang.

Artists from National Peking Opera Company also joined in the performance.
