ROK leader to be advised on nuclear security

SEOUL - ROK President Lee Myung-bak will be advised by a group of former policymakers and scholars on nuclear security ahead of a global nuclear summit next year in Seoul, the foreign ministry said Monday.

The 15-member "Eminent Persons Group" includes former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, former Indian President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, and Graham Allison, a Harvard professor and expert on nuclear weapons.
The group will provide Lee with policy proposals and advice prior to the Seoul Nuclear Summit, slated for March 26-27, according to the ministry.
The 15 advisors are to meet in Seoul on November 29.
