Shangahai Happy Valley is set to scare the living daylights outs of visitors with its Hallowmas festival that kicked-off on Sunday.

"The one-month event, a scare party with ghosts, will be an unforgettable experience for visitors," said Xu Fei, an administrative staff member from the Shanghai OCT Co Ltd.

She said four big ghosts and six haunted houses will feature in "a panic world".

The evenings wills see demon spirits gathering and zombies will appear and disappear.
