AECOM, the world's largest planning and design company, signed a contract with Beijing Tiangong Lutian Investment Co to design the Asia-Pacific Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park.
The park, located in the capital's Shunyi district, covers an area of 400 hectares. With a total investment of around 10 billion yuan ($1.61 billion), the industrial park is expected to be put into use in 2015 and aims to be the largest industrial park focused on intelligent manufacturing.
The park will play a key role in the industrial upgrading of Shunyi.
