Peng'an people celebrate 100th anniversary of CPC's founding

A singing performance was held in Peng'an county, Sichuan province on the evening of June 28 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
Twelve chorus teams, consisting of more than 2,000 Party members and people from all walks of life in the county, expressed their gratitude and love for the Party and the country with a series of classic revolutionary songs.
"The 100th anniversary of the CPC's founding is not only the birthday of the Party, but also a festival of the people," said an official at the Party committee of Peng'an. He said the singing performance was warmly welcomed, attracting more than 10,000 audiences.
The county has recently organized various cultural activities, including speaking contests, volunteer events and publicity campaigns, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of CPC's founding.
