Education in Siming

Siming district is in the first batch of "strong education districts" in Fujian province. Its quality education resources account for more than 80 percent of those in Xiamen.

In recent years, Siming district's education investment has ranked first among all the districts in Xiamen and increased year by year, accounting for nearly 40 percent of the total financial expenditure. It was selected as one of two national informationized teaching and experimental zones in the province.
