The 3rd Session of the 11th Jilin provincial Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), the policy advisory body, opened in Changchun, its capital, on Feb 8.

Huang Yanming, Jilin CPPCC chairman, and nine vice-chairmen, and members of the CPPCC were all present.

Representatives are expected to submit proposals on Jilin’s development in a four-day session and to attend group discussions, group meetings and a plenary session.

Bayinchaolu, the Party secretary, and Jiang Liangchao, the governor, and other officials were also present at the opening ceremony.
