A number of cross-border tourist routes, such as a two-day tour to Rashin and Sonbong in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea(DPRK) and a three-day tour to Russia’s Vladivostok, provided visitors many choices to explore the flavor of neighboring countries.

"I found there are many beautiful tourist attractions in DPRK and Russia on the promotion brochures, and some of them are not far away from here. I will pick out some destinations in the Tumenjiang Area," said Yang Dong, a resident in Changchun, capital city of Jilin, at a travel fair before the holiday in the northeastern province.

Tumenjiang Area borders Russia and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and is shaped like a triangle Thanks to the international cooperation and trade in Tumenjiang Area, exchanges in other areas, such as tourism, have become more and more frequent. Routes that feature cross-border cities in China, DPRK and Russia are gaining more popularity than ever before.
