Plane evacuated due to smoke in cabin

Passengers were evacuated from a plane at Shanghai Pudong Airport on Friday morning after smoke was detected in the cabin, according to the microblog "Shanghai City", the official outlet of the Information Office of the Shanghai municipal government.

Cathay Pacific flight CX365 was bound for Hong Kong. All passengers and crew managed to escape the plane using emergency chutes although 3 passengers with minor injuries were taken to hospital.
The cause of the incident is still under investigation, but the airport has returned to normal operations.
