In a press release sent to China Daily, online retailer JD said it receives more than 100,000 purchase orders, or more than 10 percent of its total orders, on its mobile platform each day.

The company's mobile services cover almost all the smartphone operating systems, such as Google Inc's Android, Apple Inc's iOS and Microsoft Corp's Windows Phone platform. Breaking down interesting trends, JD said it found Chinese iPad users prefer shopping in the late evening and like to purchase goods at the weekends.
