Chinese airline to begin Wuhan-Bangkok direct flights

WUHAN - China Southern Airlines will launch direct services on July 5 between the city of Wuhan in central China's Hubei province, and Thailand's Bangkok.

Three round-trip flights will take off every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, according to a Thursday statement from the airline's Hubei branch.

The Wuhan-Bangkok flight will take off from Wuhan at 11:40 p.m. and arrive in Bangkok at 3:10 a.m. local time.

The Bangkok-Wuhan flight will take off from Bangkok at 4:10 p.m. local time and arrive in Wuhan at 7:40 a.m.

China Southern Airlines also plans to start offering five round-trip weekly flights between Wuhan and Singapore to accommodate booming outbound tourism during the summer season.
