Guiyang county in Central China's Hunan province, known as "hometown of camellia oil," has a history of about 800 years of making tea oil from camellias seeds.

It has seen a rise of tea oil production in traditional way amid concerns over food safety in China.

Zhou Lianfei, who used to work in construction sector in other cities, returned to his hometown of Guiyang and hired elder masters to guide the production that includes complicated procedures like drying, grinding, steaming, and pressing.
