China, US need to touch base and clarify rules

China and the United States is set to hold their fifth Strategic and Economic Dialogue from July 10th to 11th in Washington, D.C.. This high level talk between the two nations began back in 2009 and encompasses a wide range of strategic and economic issues. Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang and State Councillor Yang Jiechi will co-chair the dialogue with US Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew and Secretary of State John Kerry.

For more on expected talks on cybersecurity between China and the US, we are joined in the studio by Mr Du Yuejin, director of the National Institute of Network and Information Security.

Q1: What do you think will be the issues at the top of the agenda at the China-US cyber-security working group's first meeting?

Q2: There's been some finger-pointing from both sides on the cyber-security issue...so will the Chinese and American sides be able to really look past their differences and work towards cooperation?

Q3: What do you think are the main challenges for China and the US to cooperate on cyber-security?
