Dalian Yingbo beat Tianjin Jinmen Tiger 3-1 at home on Sunday to clinch the 2026 Chinese Super League title on the final day of the season, in front of 62,619 spectators at Suoyuwan Football Stadium in Dalian, Liaoning province.
The triumph marks the return of the Chinese top-flight title to Dalian for the first time since 2005, when Dalian Shide last won the championship.
Few would have predicted such an outcome earlier in the season.
