One person was killed, and four others injured in a multiple-vehicle collision near the Tuoling Tunnel on the Shanghai-Wuhan Expressway, local traffic police said on Sunday.
The accident occurred at around 3 pm on Saturday, with a truck catching fire following the collision. None of the injured were in life-threatening condition, according to the authorities.
Police, firefighters, emergency management personnel, and medical teams rushed to the scene after receiving the report. Treatment for the injured and follow-up arrangements are underway, while efforts are being made to restore normal traffic flow.
