China has opened an anti-dumping investigation into para-aramid filament yarn originating in the European Union, according to the Ministry of Commerce.
Para-aramid filament yarn, also known as Kevlar-type fibre, is a lightweight, high-tensile synthetic material valued for heat resistance and toughness. It serves as a key input for optical cables, ballistic protection fabrics, safety gear, auto components and aerospace products.
