Young people need a dedicated space to share their ideas with public institutions, businesses and other stakeholders and work together to find solutions, Laura Iancu, founder and director of Diplomats. Digital and a 2026 World Internet Conference global youth leader, said in an interview at the 2026 WIC Wuzhen Summit.
Good ideas can emerge anywhere, Iancu said, but they can struggle to become reality when the people behind them remain disconnected.
She said the WIC provides an ideal platform for young people to develop solutions together and explore ways to put them into practice.
