Shanghai Disney Resort will open its third Disney-themed hotel — the Shanghai Disney Enchanted Star Hotel — on Dec 16, with reservations opening at midnight on Nov 6 through official resort channels and authorized travel partners.
Named after the wishing star from Disney lore, the 400-room property sits adjacent to the existing Shanghai Disneyland Hotel, overlooking Wishing Star Lake and the theme park itself.
The nine-story structure draws inspiration from early 20th-century Shanghai architecture, incorporating Art Nouveau elements that blend Western design principles with local aesthetic traditions.
Guest rooms feature wish-and-star-themed artwork with Disney touches, and are available in several configurations including deluxe rooms, park-view deluxe rooms, family-themed rooms, and executive accommodations. Four room categories will be available when reservations open, with additional options to be introduced later.
The hotel features an indoor pool and multiple play areas themed around Disney characters and stories. In a first for Shanghai Disney Resort hotels, guests will also have access to an outdoor pool, which will operate seasonally depending on weather and operational conditions.
Dining options include the Enchanted Seasons Restaurant, while the hotel will also host character meet-and-greets, live entertainment performances, and offer exclusive merchandise.
A covered walkway connects the Shanghai Disney Enchanted Star Hotel to the existing Shanghai Disneyland Hotel, allowing guests at both properties to access shared facilities, including fitness centers, pools, play areas, shops, and restaurants.
