Nairobi building collapses

A multi-story building under construction in Nairobi, Kenya, collapsed on Friday, with people feared to be trapped under the rubble.

The accident happened in Eastleigh, near the downtown area of Nairobi. Video footage circulated online showed the collapse stirred up thick dust in a densely populated area.

Police and emergency teams are at the scene for rescue efforts, while the cause of the accident is not yet clear, according to local media reports.
