Over 10,000 cruise tourists arrive in Tianjin port
More than 10,000 cruise tourist visits are expected to be recorded at Tianjin International Cruise Home Port on Thursday, the first day of the National Day holiday, hitting a new high for this year and more than doubling the figure for the same period last year.
During the National Day break, the port is projected to receive 17,000 tourist visits, among whom are around 15,000 international guests.
Wang Ziyu, staff member of Tianjin International Cruise Home Port Co, talked about service arrangements for the travel rush.
"We have made full preparations for the massive passenger flow," Wang said. "Our goal is to cut waiting time for tourists, deliver comfortable experiences, and guarantee travel safety. We also welcome more international visitors to come to Tianjin. The port boasts world‑class cruise‑berthing capacity."
