Sean Stein pushes back on US-China decoupling

Sean Stein, president of the US-China Business Council, said in an exclusive interview with China Daily that "The two leaders are committed to devoting the time and the effort needed to really build and stabilize the relationship. The countries with the most innovative companies on the planet are the US and China."

According to Stein, the list for closer China-US cooperation is not limited to one, two or three industries, but encompasses cooperation across the board.
"That's a trend of history that just can't really be reversed," he said.
