Yangling Agricultural Hi-Tech Fair set for Oct 25-29 in Shaanxi

The 33rd China Yangling Agricultural Hi-Tech Fair and the 2026 Shanghai Cooperation Organization Agricultural Expo will be held from Oct 25 to 29 in Yangling Demonstration Zone, Shaanxi province, according to a Wednesday morning news conference in Beijing.

The fair has drawn over 2,000 enterprises from more than 50 countries and regions. Ningxia Hui autonomous region acts as this year's theme province, with Yulin of Shaanxi designated the theme city.

The overseas exhibition has completed tours in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Australia. In October, it will be held in Kyrgyzstan and Kenya to promote the two-way exchange of agricultural technology, equipment, and products.

The special field exhibition focuses on the characteristic agricultural industries in arid areas. It has set up over 30 demonstration sites in the Yangling Demonstration Zone and other cities and counties of Shaanxi province. Portions of the exhibition are available online.

Launched in 1994, the fair is China's national 5A-level comprehensive agricultural exhibition. It has attracted over 30,000 industry enterprises and scientific research institutions from about 80 countries and regions. More than 35 million businesspeople and visitors have attended the fair, showcasing over 200,000 items and projects.

Running concurrently, the 2026 SCO Agricultural Expo will feature a dedicated exhibition hall for the first time. An apple industry field exhibition will also be held in Kyrgyzstan.

"Enterprises are organized to showcase their products and expand their international markets, forming a coordinated exhibition pattern both domestically and internationally," said Jia Guangdong, president of the China Association for the Promotion of International Agricultural Cooperation.
