CFMOTO's Sun claims historic ESBK Talent Championship
"From participating in individual international racing events to building a complete system covering top-level competition, youth development and customer racing, CFMOTO has remained committed from the very beginning to doing things for the long term," CFMOTO Vice-President Chen Zhiyong said.
"Our goal is to become a world-class powersports brand and realize our vision of Chinese bikes, Chinese riders competing on world tracks."
For CFMOTO, motorsport has become a key pillar of its international branding strategy, helping elevate the company from a domestic motorcycle manufacturer to a global performance brand.
The partnership between CFMOTO and Aspar, recently extended through 2031, has increasingly focused on nurturing young Chinese riders capable of competing internationally.
"China has many young people who are passionate about motorcycle racing," said Jorge Martínez, founder of the Aspar Team. "Beyond talent and passion, what really matters is building a sustainable pathway that allows them to enter international competition, receive professional training and continue to progress."
The youth development program forms one of three pillars of CFMOTO's motorsport strategy, alongside using racing to strengthen its brand and accelerate research and development.
The company said its long-term ambition is to build a complete global racing ecosystem that could eventually see a Chinese rider compete for world championships aboard a motorcycle designed and manufactured in China.
