New financing aids Genisom AI in better tapping advanced manufacturing
Genisom AI, a Chinese company specializing in embodied intelligent robots, has announced that it completed a new round of financing in September, helping it better tap advanced manufacturing.
It said it has completed hundreds of millions of yuan in Series B financing, led by Stone Venture from the United Arab Emirates, with related investment institutions such as Hongshan Capital, and industry investors such as Neusoft Group.
Genisom AI Founder and Co-CEO Liu Yulong said this round of financing reflected the market's continued optimism about the long-term development space of embodied intelligence, the recognition of Genisom AI's industrial layout of intelligent technology in full stack technology, mass production, industry applications, and related aspects.
Currently, advanced manufacturing is accelerating its development toward intelligence, greenness, and integration. Genisom AI will adhere to the independent research and development of core technologies and promote embodied intelligence in more industrial scenarios.
As of June 2026, Genisom AI's embodied intelligent robots have surpassed 15,000 units in mass production, with monthly production capacity growing by over 10-fold over last year's average level. Its product has entered multiple industries such as electricity, petrochemicals, fire protection, security, emergency, and education, and it has established cooperation with more than 500 ecological partners, Liu said.
With the new financing, Genisom AI will focus on continuous investment in robot body, embodied brain and task operation, improve the quality, reliability and cost competitiveness of robot body, promote the iteration of GSD (Genius Self Driving) autonomous navigation capability, and strengthen the task operation capability of robots facing real industrial scenarios.
Meanwhile, it will enhance research and development investment around four intelligent technology routes — motion intelligence, spatial intelligence, interactive intelligence, and swarm intelligence — continuously building truly "working robots", Liu added.
Since its establishment more than two years ago, Genisom AI has formed a production layout of three major bases and four major factories.
The significance of its 15,000 units of embodied intelligent robots is not just a production quantity, but also a validation of its large-scale production, supply chain management, and stable delivery capabilities, Liu said.
Liu stressed that the industrialization of embodied intelligence is not a competition of any single ability, but the result of the joint action of technology, products, mass production, and scenarios.
Based on this judgment, Genisom AI has gradually formed three core capabilities of "full stack technology + mass production + industry application" — full stack technology that supports product iteration, mass production that ensures stable supply, and real industry applications that continuously verify product value.
Liu added that when robots truly enter the industrial field, they are not facing the standard environment of a laboratory, but complex working conditions such as stairs, gravel, rain, snow, dust, and constantly changing task requirements.
Based on real-life scenarios, Genisom AI has built a full stack technology system covering core components, robot bodies, motion control, and intelligent algorithms, forming an "integrated dual brain" core architecture.
Liu noted that Stone Venture led the investment in this round of financing. The Middle East has abundant demand for robot applications in fields such as oil and gas, energy, security, and emergency response, which are highly compatible with the application scenarios that Genisom AI has continuously verified in China.
After this round of financing, Genisom AI will launch its "Universal Gravity" plan, opening up thousands of real machines and comprehensive resources worth over 100 million yuan ($14.9 million) to developers, universities, research institutions, and industry partners in the first phase, driving more innovative forces to participate in technology and application innovation, and jointly promoting the sustained prosperity of the embodied intelligent ecosystem.
Liu said that from the domestic market to a global layout, Genisom AI is extending its production and industry application capabilities to a wider range of scenarios, promoting embodied intelligence from "Chinese scale production" to "global industrial scenarios".
