Former Chinese national team forward Ding Yanyuhang, who was on the Mavs' roster for that 2018 preseason trip as a training-camp prospect, is also expected to visit Macao and make an appearance at the NBA House as an ambassador for the franchise on his home soil.

Performances by a star-studded lineup of musical artists from across Asia, including K-pop acts KiiiKiii and SB19, as well as special appearances by EVAN and MIRROR member Keung To, are also expected to wow fans at the NBA House.

Other highlights at the carnival also include a merchandise village offering official NBA products and collectibles, a food court of over 1,500 square meters merging Macao local delicacies with authentic Texas cuisine and various activations by official league partners.

Fans are also invited to show off their ball skills with "NBA Inside the Game powered by AWS", an interactive shooting experience on a smart digital LED court, as well as snag photo opportunities with NBA trophies and join viewing parties for The NBA China Games 2026.

NBA deputy commissioner and COO Mark Tatum said it's a no-brainer to bring the games back following last year's success.

"The games in Macao earlier this season showed how much passion and enthusiasm there is for the NBA among fans in China and across Asia," Tatum said in January after announcing the Dallas-vs-Houston matchup for this year's Macao trip.

"We look forward to welcoming the Mavericks and Rockets to Macao and to once again engaging fans, aspiring players, and the local community through the games and surrounding events."
