Oppo's ColorOS tops 770 million global users
Chinese tech company Oppo announced that its ColorOS operating system has surpassed 770 million global monthly active users, with services now reaching more than 90 countries and regions.
For the first time, OPPO, OnePlus and realme will roll out the same ColorOS upgrade simultaneously, delivering "three brands, one ColorOS" and a consistent cross-device experience.
The company also officially launched ColorOS 17, featuring an all-new fluid design and the Tidal Engine, a personalized perception-based scheduling system that redefines smooth performance. The release highlights AI proactive intelligence in personalized services and contextual interaction, marking a key step for Oppo in the AIOS era. ColorOS now spans phones, tablets, watches, earbuds, cars, smart home devices and emerging hardware.
Tang Kai, president of Oppo's software engineering business unit, said “Good products should grow with users. Truly useful AI should enter real-life scenarios and proactively offer the right service at the right time. Oppo will remain user-centric, building a smoother, more intelligent ColorOS.”
