Over 2,000 firms offer more than 30,000 positions at Jinan job fair
Jinan, the capital city of Shandong province, opened its annual high-level talent recruitment fair on Sunday at the Shandong International Convention and Exhibition Center, with more than 2,000 employers offering over 30,000 quality positions to talent from home and abroad.
Welcoming slogans around the venue carried a simple message that Jinan, known as the City of Springs, is opening its arms to talent from around the world and aims to be a place where they can pursue their dreams and live in peace.
The employers include private companies, State-owned enterprises, high-tech companies, specialized enterprises, universities based in Jinan, research and development institutions, medical and educational institutions, financial institutions, and public institutions.
The positions cover fields such as artificial intelligence, aerospace and low-altitude economy, electronic information, integrated circuits and high-end software, intelligent manufacturing, high-end CNC machine tools and robotics, automobiles, new energy equipment and specialized equipment, modern medicine and high-end healthcare, food and bio-manufacturing, steel and advanced materials, modern services, education and culture, finance, and modern agriculture, offering broad choices for talent at different levels and in different fields.
Five themed zones are featured at the event, focusing on talent recruitment, one-stop services, opportunity releases, cultural experiences and local cuisine. The zones combine job matching and policy services with cultural and lifestyle experiences, allowing job seekers to feel the city's charm while exploring career opportunities.
Jinan's talent pool has reached 3.1 million. In 2025, its permanent resident population grew by 101,000, the fifth-largest increase nationwide and the largest among northern Chinese cities.
