Diplomats, envoys from 20 countries explore Suzhou and Nanjing

One of the highlights was a fully autonomous unmanned aerial vehicle inspection system, which was used to establish a three-dimensional Internet of Things network covering both air and ground for integrated governance in some areas of Suzhou.

"What I've seen today is quite remarkable. We see how much AI and technology have advanced, and how they can be used for the benefit of the citizens," said Koula Sophianou, ambassador of Cyprus to China.

She said she learned that drones can detect forest fires so that the competent authorities are informed about them immediately and can take the relevant measures, which is "very important".

"We've seen that there are more and more forest fires everywhere in the world because of climate change, so the early detection is very important," she said, adding that it's a good example of how technological advancements contribute to the environment and the safety of citizens.
