China raises gasoline, diesel prices
China will raise the retail prices of gasoline and diesel from Sept 12 based on recent changes in international crude oil prices. Gasoline and diesel prices will increase by 260 yuan ($38.38) and 250 yuan per metric ton, respectively, said the National Development and Reform Commission.
Yuan strengthens against greenback
The central parity rate of the yuan strengthened 23 pips to 6.7743 against the US dollar on Friday, according to the China Foreign Exchange Trade System.
