Yangzhou, Jiangsu province, has launched its first dedicated pet shuttle bus, part of the city's broader push to brand itself as a pet-friendly destination.
The service, run by a local pet park in partnership with the Yangzhou Economic Development Cultural Tourism Group and Yangzhou Public Transport, ferries owners and their animals to and from the park, easing the difficulties they face bringing pets onto ordinary public transport.
Passengers can make an appointment and board at bus stations, community gates, pet-friendly hotels, and other designated points.
