Hot meals fuel Gyirong disaster relief workers

On Aug 29, a catering support vehicle from the Red Cross Society of the Xizang Autonomous Region arrived in Gyirong town to provide meal support for frontline medical staff, cargo handlers and sanitation workers. After completing food distribution at Gyirong Port Hospital on Sept 2, teams drove to workers' rest areas to deliver hot meals. Though simple, these meals serve as solid backing for ongoing mudslide relief efforts.
