On Saturday, China Daily reporters arrived in Gyirong town, Xizang autonomous region, to report from the frontline of the debris-flow rescue operation. Multiple rescue teams are conducting searches in the hardest-hit areas, combing through mud and debris for those still unaccounted for. Search and rescue efforts are being carried out across land, water and air, with inflatable boats, ground teams and drones deployed for search, reconnaissance and the delivery of emergency supplies. Rescue operations continue as teams work to reach those in need in the affected areas.
