Elite rescue team deployed to Xizang following devastating mudslide

A 111-member elite fire and rescue team arrived in Dingri county, Shigatse, Xizang autonomous region, at around 8 am Thursday. Provided to chinadaily.com.cn

In response, the Xizang regional disaster prevention, reduction, and relief commission activated a Level-I regional natural disaster relief emergency response, with rescue forces rapidly assembled and sent to the disaster site.
