Electrocution suspected after two pedestrians found unconscious on Chongqing sidewalk

Two pedestrians found unconscious on a sidewalk on Tuesday night in Chongqing's Yuzhong district are suspected of having been electrocuted, according to an incident report released by the local public security bureau early on Wednesday.
The report said the incident occurred at 8:35 pm on Tuesday beneath a pedestrian bridge. Responding swiftly, patrol officers arrived at the scene and transported the victims to the hospital, where they are receiving intensive medical care.
In response to the incident, local authorities have implemented security control measures around the area to ensure public safety. An investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the incident, with relevant departments actively involved in the inquiry.
