Top political adviser inspects Xizang
China's top political adviser Wang Huning has called for sustained efforts to advance the Xizang autonomous region's four major tasks of ensuring stability, facilitating development, protecting the eco-environment and strengthening frontiers, and to build a new modern socialist Xizang during the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30) period.
Wang, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, made the remarks during a fact-finding tour to Xizang from Sunday to Wednesday.
He also urged efforts to advance law-based governance in Xizang and continue guiding Tibetan Buddhism to adapt to socialist society.
Senior official urges Party school work advances
Cai Qi, a senior official of the Communist Party of China, called on Party schools on Wednesday to stay true to their founding mission, forge ahead with resolve and break new ground to advance Party school work in the new era.
Cai, president of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee (National Academy of Governance), made the remarks at a national conference of Party school principals in Beijing.
He also urged Party schools to contribute wisdom and strength to continuously advance full and rigorous Party self-governance.
