Changchun's new FAW Museum showcases 70-year auto manufacturing history
The China FAW Museum opened to the public on Tuesday in Changchun, Jilin province.
Designed as a new city cultural landmark, the museum was jointly created by Changchun Film Group, Changchun Cultural Tourism Group, and China FAW.
The museum's multi-dimensional exhibition system recreates the more than 70-year history of FAW's development journey, cataloging its pioneering days, breakthroughs in independent automobile manufacturing, innovative reforms and transformations, and its current era of digital intelligence leadership.
Among the museum's collections are over 100 classic vehicles, including the first Liberation CA10 truck in New China, the first generation Dongfeng car, the classic Hongqi CA72 car, and national-level parade vehicles. There is also a vast number of historical materials and artifacts related to the group's establishment.
