Changchun auto expo opens with 53 carmakers, 1,000 vehicles

The 23rd China Changchun International Automobile Expo opened Sunday at the Northeast Asia International Expo Center in Changchun, Jilin province, drawing 53 carmakers and more than 1,000 vehicles across a range of electric and intelligent models.
More than 20 new car models are making their debut in Northeast China, and three new brands are appearing in Changchun for the first time. The expo runs alongside the 8th China FAW Hongqi Carnival, which falls on the 70th anniversary of the launch of New China’s first domestically produced vehicle.
