Yangtze 3 debuts Chongqing-Shanghai cruise route
Yangtze 3, the brand's new-generation high-end inland cruise ship, combines the merits of ocean-going cruise liners and inland river vessels. Equipped with smart eco-friendly facilities and a wide range of luxury suites, the vessel features an innovative all-inclusive fare system with dedicated butler service. It also offers exclusive onboard performances in partnership with Chongqing Folk Arts Troupe, as well as immersive Yangtze culture workshops.
The full Chongqing-Shanghai route traverses the upper, middle, and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, linking landmark natural and cultural sites such as the Three Gorges, Jingzhou ancient city, and Yellow Crane Tower, providing a comprehensive immersion into the civilization along the Yangtze River Basin.
Wusongkou International Cruise Terminal in Baoshan district has posted strong results in international operations this year. Official figures show the share of foreign tourists has risen from seven percent in 2025 to 13 percent. On March 28, the terminal recorded 5,900 inbound foreign passengers in a single day, setting a new high for Shanghai's cruise ports.
