Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building connects Party strengthening with national rejuvenation: report
BEIJING -- A think tank report on Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building released on Thursday said the Thought reflects intrinsic connections among Party self-governance, Party strengthening and national rejuvenation.
The report, titled "Contemporary Features and Global Significance of Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building," was jointly released by the National High-Level Think Tank of the Party School of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee (National Academy of Governance) and the National High-Level Think Tank of Xinhua News Agency.
According to the report, the Thought represents the crystallization of the practical experience and collective wisdom of the CPC and the Chinese people.
It is a systematic summary of General Secretary Xi Jinping's landmark and leading new concepts, thoughts and strategies on Party building in the new era, the report said.
The Thought stresses upholding the Party leadership as the defining feature of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and emphasizes the centralized and unified leadership of the CPC Central Committee, providing guidance on the Party's discipline and rules, conduct improvement, theoretical innovation, organizational system optimization, and cultivation of officials, according to the report.
