China's Juncao technology to industrialize in Democratic Republic of the Congo
DRC Ambassador to China Francois Nkuna Balumuene visited the university in May to discuss expert exchanges and industrial partnerships. The university has trained three degree students and 21 technical personnel from the DRC. It also established the International College of Juncao Science on June 18 to deepen global poverty alleviation and support the UN 2030 Agenda.
According to the university, its alumni are currently stationed within Chinese enterprises operating in the DRC, where bilateral partnerships in copper and cobalt resources development and power infrastructure continue to boost local employment and provide sustainable support for the nation's industrial upgrade and economic growth.
Beyond agriculture, the DRC is emerging as a destination for China-Africa cooperation thanks to its natural resources and development potential.
