Selected works of Xi Jinping on diplomacy published
The first and second volumes of selected works of Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, on diplomacy have been published.
The two volumes bring together 134 of Xi's most important and fundamental works on diplomacy from January 2013 to November 2025, including reports, speeches and addresses.
Compiled by the Institute of Party History and Literature of the CPC Central Committee, the books were published by the Central Party Literature Press.
State Council meeting urges sci-tech self-reliance
Premier Li Qiang chaired a State Council executive meeting on Thursday, which called for speeding up efforts to achieve greater self-reliance and strength in science and technology.
The meeting also studied the rectification of problems identified in the audit of the implementation of the 2025 central budget and other fiscal revenues and expenditures.
The meeting reviewed and approved plans for education development and for building a Beautiful China during the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30) period. It also approved in principle a draft revision to the Road Traffic Safety Law, which will be submitted to lawmakers for deliberation.
