Austrian author Robert Mag Fitzthum praised China's record of advancing economic development while protecting its ecological environment, calling it a strong "fine example for sustainable development".
Dayron Valido Escalona, a specialist from the Human Rights Group of Cuba's Ministry of Foreign Affairs,linked the port's technological progress to the broader right to development, noting the visit coincided with the 40th anniversary of that right's proclamation. He also expressed confidence that Tianjin Port's advanced smart and green technologies would strengthen economic and trade ties between China, Cuba, and broader Latin America.
