UNESCO cherishes partnership with China, highlighting STEM education

A high-level symposium on STEM Education and the first session of the governing board of IISTEM was held in Shanghai on May 14. Khaled El-Enany, director-general of UNESCO, said IISTEM marks renewed momentum in the long-standing cooperation between China and UNESCO. The UNESCO International Institute for STEM Education, inaugurated in Shanghai in September last year, provides a fresh global platform for driving educational innovation.
