Ancient Chongwu fortress showcases bridal attire of 56 ethnicities

The historic Chongwu Ancient City fortress in Hui'an county of Quanzhou, Fujian province, recently hosted a grand fashion parade featuring bridal attire from 56 ethnic groups.
The event offered visitors a visual feast, blending ancient stone architectural heritage with diverse ethnic aesthetics. Its centerpiece was the display of traditional Hui'an fisherwomen's outfits. Famed for their unique aesthetic and the resilient spirit of the women who wear them, the garments are listed as a national intangible cultural heritage.
